1. Are all the videos free?
Yes! All videos are free to view online. I used to sell copies of the videos but stopped doing that for the meantime.
2. Are the problems in your Surveying Book the same problems as the Surveying Videos?
No. The problems in the book are totally different problems. The book covers the same six topics, plus two additional topics, but the problem are different. View a sample of the book by cliking here.
3. How do you make a video?
I create the videos using PowerPoint. After creating the slide, I type of the narration for each slide. Then I record the video and my narration using a screen recording program, then I edit the recording using MovieMaker. After that, I convert the files to .flv and upload them to the site. Videos lasting 3 to 6 minutes in duration take about 5 to 8 hours to create.
4. Can I request a video?
Yes. Send me your problems and I'll consider making it into a video. Tim@EngineeringVideos.Net
5. What can I expect from Engineering Videos in the near future?
I plan to spend more time in the Water Resources subject. Before the end of the year, I hope to add more water videos. I'll probably add new videos to existing topics and I'll probably start a few new topics.
6. Any new books from Engineering Videos?
I plan to write my water resources book book next, but don't expect it to be done anytime soon.
7. How can I keep up to date with Engineering Videos?
One way is to become a fan of the Facebook Fan Page. Another way is to bookmark EngineeringVideos.Net and check the announcements on the homepage.
8. Can I help?
I suggest you "pay it forward." Find something you enjoy doing that provides value for other people. Then, put all your heart into it! This website is part of my forward payment. Thanks for visiting, and God bless!
